Quick Sticky Tasks is a browser extension that lets you create and manage sticky-note style tasks from your toolbar. This policy explains how your data is handled.

What Data Is Stored

The extension stores only the data you create within it:

• Task text you type in
• Color you pick for each task
• Whether a task is marked as done or not
• Timestamp of when the task was created

This data is saved using Chrome's built-in storage API (chrome.storage.sync) so your tasks persist between sessions and sync across your Chrome devices through your own Google account.

What We Don't Collect

We do not collect or have access to any of the following:

• Personal information (name, email, address, etc.)
• Browsing history or website content
• Cookies or tracking identifiers
• Analytics or usage data
• Location data
• Financial or authentication information

Third-Party Sharing

Your data is never sent to any external server, third-party service, or analytics platform. There is no backend. The extension makes zero network requests.

Permissions Used

The extension requests only one permission:

• storage — Used to save and retrieve your task list locally through Chrome's sync storage. This is the only way your tasks are kept between sessions.

Remote Code

This extension does not load or execute any remote code. All code is bundled within the extension package.
